Position: Mechanical Finish-out Technician
Department: Building Team
Location: New Holland, PA

The Mechanical Finish out technician is responsible for the finish out process for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, including final inspection and testing of all mechanical systems to ensure all components and features are functioning as intended. This role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Key Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical, plumbing, HVAC layout drawings
- Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, materials, and installation best practices
- Final HVAC, electrical and plumbing installations in tiny homes and modular structures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, ensuring timely and accurate repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and work performed.
- Perform quality control checks on all completed mechanical installations.
- Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Position: Materials Planner
Department: Building Team

Zook Built is seeking a Materials Planner who is responsible for determining and managing material requirements for modular and park model projects. This includes performing accurate material takeoffs from blueprints and project drawings and maintaining effective inventory control to ensure all required materials are stocked and available for each phase of production. This role works closely with the Purchasing Manager, Shop Managers, and Quality Manger to coordinate material availability, reduce shortages, and support project schedules and deadlines.
Key Qualifications:
- Familiarity with construction materials and the construction process
- Experience in material takeoffs and reading blueprints/orders
- Knowledge of inventory management or warehouse operations
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory control systems
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Able to adapt to changing priorities
